I finally cleared out an area in the back lot and got myself a 18m range. It will extend as the trees grow. Its semi private, cannot be seen by anyone driving by. About 90 yards from my neighbours houses. Nearly surrounded 360 by trees. In the shade. But I need to mark the ranges, build a bench and don't really need one. But build a little back stop. As there might be some rocks in the small berm I set up against. This should please my neighbors and allow us all to get along, while continuing to be safe.

I though you had set up to shoot from your back door or garage.
Revised my order for small parts from Hatsan.

What airgun related did I do today?Well aside from doing some more work towards the 2240 stuby build, I kind of had my bubble burst with this project.I was all excited about this build and how I was kind of creating something unique with the reshaped grip frame and rear cocking hammer that nobody else had thought of before ( somewhat, the stubby has been done alot )Well as it turns out that I am actually 67 years too late, somehow I completely forgot completely about the Crosman model 150 and 157 That's right, this whole time I was inadvertently thinking up and recreating the model 150 which was introduced in 1954 Actually I'm pretty happy to know that I seem to think they way Crosman did back in their heyday , and the gun will be even more cool because it will essentially be a model 157 but a bit more modular.

Pardon the pun. Is the sear. Un modified it, it will prevent you having low power I believe. A member modified a sear for my 2240 grip frame CR150. So I retain Hi/Low and last time I shot it, I only shoot on Low. I got 40 shots, with a avg 389, with a STD Dev of 3.7, would been better, but the 40th shot dropped down to 378 FPS. With 382 being the lowest, till the 40th and Highest was 393.
