I bought this rifle as my first air rifle after retirement 6 years ago. Got me started collecting. I’ve never had it apart it worked perfectly from the start. Held 2 pump for a year! The walnut stock is about as good as it gets. Shooting Crosman Hollow Points 14.3 grain.
Pumps. FPS
4. 506
5. 544
6. 603
7. 634
I really don’t like to go past 6 pumps. Pretty loud after 4. I like 3 pumps for my backyard.

Nice numbers for one of these. My 101 doesn't shoot near that hard.

Steve
that is the prettiest wood i have seen on a 102
i have 3 102s
and the 102s pretty much have better looking wood then most 101s

Nicest wood I have on any gun I have. Here are pics I took a while ago. Both sides.

Oh My Stars Steve.... another beauty!

I didn't know they were that powerful.
You don't even see stocks like that on high end firearms these days.
So sad the days when companies really took pride in what they sold are mostly gone. That air rifle is phenomenal.
A little off subject but I've found Ruger to have great customer service, they'll send new springs to tune up your
Firearms free of charge. Great way to do business.
Cheers,
Rich
