Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Come one, come all... Casual Match #7 of 2020/2021 is open for business.!!!
The Casual Match is a fun match. Shoot whatever you want at 10M (more or less depending on what you have available), use any position or rest that you prefer. See below for the details.
Rules are the same as for the 50’ Casual Match, except distance is 10M instead of 50’, using the 50’ target of choice. If you are limited to distance, shoot at whatever distance you have available. Classes are PCP Rifle (includes any rifle except spring or nitro pistons), Jumper (Piston Rifle, spring or gas), and Pistol. One entry may be made in each class.
The match to run 2 weeks, through Sunday, 2/28/21.
The 50’ rules and targets may be found at:

You guys are looking good. I hope to get a target in but we have had more snow in 2 days that the last 20-30 years combined. 8 low temperature records. Hope to be able to turn water on tomorrow but at least we have a well and have had power almost all through this. Our lowest was 10 with a chill of -6. Unheard of here. But God is in control and it will be a great learning lesson and we are Blessed to look forward to spring and shooting again. Supposed to be 15 tonight and the warm days are coming.

You all gave me a scare. I suddenly thought tonight was the end of match #7.
Thank goodness we have another week!
-
Me too! I thought for some reason it was ending tonight, I still haven't finished tuning the DAR! I may have some time Tuesday to try another target, it's looking better but not completely dialed in yet.

Here is my "Jumper" entry..
I am really liking this new "Buck Rail" 2-6 X 32 compact scope set on 4X.
Can hardly wait until the snow melts to "Stretch Her Legs" ...
But for now I will take this.
Call name: Hoosier Daddy
Jumper Class
Air rifle used: FWB 300s
Sighting system: Scoped at 4x (see above)
Pellet and caliber: Meiesters .177 @ 8.2g

Score 200-18X
Pic of the target...
Bull # 4 scanned better then it actually was. Dang hanging chads... I would have loved to claim 2X but when scanned it looks better that actually scoring with a pellt on a stick. >:(
-
"LASER" ;)
-
Scott, I like the extra detail about the dog barking, we can start a new line on the target info list to include excuses.
I really hoped the Meisterschutze would do a little better, I guess we’re still getting to know each other.
