Friends,
We moved to the Mt. Vernon, VA area this summer and I live in an area where I can no longer shoot in my backyard. As such, I'm interested in finding an airgun club or local place to shoot.
Thanks!
Joe

Joe,
I wish you well in your endeavor to find a place to shoot around there, but they will be keeping a low profile and be difficult to find. Unfortunately, you have chosen to live in an area of the country where even a rubber band gun will have you thrown into prison for the rest of your natural life. Like those who live in the state of New York who do not claim New York City, we in Virginia have forsaken that area to the yankees and carpet baggers.

Welcome, Joe!
Hope you and Burke have airgunning success in VA.

Haha, thanks for the well wishes Burke!
Sadly, Uncle Sam has placed me here and I can't wait to get back to a more rural area! :D :D
The good news is that I have found a place to shoot nearby at an indoor range. However, I think my pesting might be limited until we move next year.
I can definitely appreciate what you're saving about this part of the US!

Thanks Craig,
Just this morning I got off my duff and did just that - I sent a PM to a local member in hopes to find a shooting partner. I'm in a line of work where we move every few years so it's often challenging to find reasonable places to shoot. Certainly, there's always the option of paying at a firearms range but I'm not quite that desperate for a pellet fix (yet!)! That's not to say that I don't enjoy my firearms, but the whole appeal of precision airgunning to me is cutting down on the noise and crowds!
