Any 100yd indoor shooting experience?

(1/2) > >>

FastJ:
Hello

Had yesterday second testing 100yd indoors range.
Some reason results go worse than normally have outdoor range.

So anyone else experienced similar?

Couple months ago there was absolutely no wind day my outdoor range and results was bad also. So got me thinking do these need some wind to stabilize?

Have normally like 0.6moa groups. Now they was like 1-1.5 moa.

Picture is comparing 1:14 and 1:18 liners. 5 and 10 groups

There is an 85 yard indoor range in Fort Worth.   I think the ventilation system creates weird winds.  I have had bad luck in there past 50 yards with my .177 field target rifles.

Frank in Fairfield:
Never shot long range indoors.
I have shot long range into a door!
Fords, Chevies, Dodges, etc.

Could that low air movement cause it?
Place where can test is long factory hall. There is four ventilation units along straight.
But hardy feel airflow and wind meter blades not even turning.
Current setup 2-3mph side wind is like 0.1mil 100yd

Have never shot indoors long range personally, but have seen videos and reviews of 100 yard indoors. Shooters mentioned air turbulence from the ventilation system indeed affected groups to some degree.
