Title: CROSMAN CBT TRIGGER UPGRADES?
Post by: mightyjoeyoung on June 13, 2022, 03:17:08 PM
I haven't been on the site in quite a while but I need some insight on this gun.  I've shot springers for years and years.  My last one was a CDT tuned and retriggered  .177, Gamo Big Cat that is still going strong and shooting lights out. After the time up I don't even consider it a Gamo anymore. Lol.  For grins and on a whim I just purchased a Crosman Diamondback SBD Air Rifle with the Elite Nitro Piston from Pyramid Air based on reviews on here and other sites.  I wanted another budget gun that had good reviews.  With open sights, shooting H&N Barracuda 15.89 domed at 15 yards it's shooting about 5/16" groups...when I can get an absolute PERFECT trigger press.  Any other shot without a perfect squeeze and it is a &^^& shoot.  My question is mutli-fold.  1.  Is Charlie Da Tuna even in business anymore?  I've emailed them a few times with no response. 2. If he isn't in business, are there any other manufacturers that make trigger mods?  3.  Besides CDT are there mods that are better than others and more to point SAFE, while providing and improved break and reduced weight?  Thanks guys!

You HAVE been away for quite awhile.  Bob Werner(charliedatuna) passed on several years ago.  Before that he transferred his business to his good friend Gene who is no longer with us either.  Gene's wife Cathy now has the site and the triggers are still available.  The site sometimes has issues but if you contact ezman604 via pm on this website he can get in touch with her.

Yes I sure have been away for a while!  Thanks for the info. Really hoping to get this rifle shooting better.
