Call to Arms for Washington residents

(1/3) > >>

ztirffritz:
The new director of the Washington Dept of Fish and Wildlife has asked for input about concerns or needed changes from residents.  If you have some time, take a few minutes and suggest that the WDFW update their airgun hunting regulations:

Thank you for the link.  I dropped them a line.

The wdfw director is also touring the state to do meet n greets throughout the state. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend the meeting in Yakima due to some scheduling issues with my wife and childcare.  If you're able to go though, here's the schedule:

The meetings are scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. at the following dates and locations:

Sept. 10 – Selah Civic Center, 216 1st St., Selah.
Sept. 30 – Center Place, 2426 N. Discovery Place, Spokane Valley.
Oct. 6 – WDFW Mill Creek Office, 16018 Mill Creek Blvd, Mill Creek.
Oct. 8 – Saint Martin’s University, Norman Worthington Conference Center, 5300 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey.
Oct. 14 – Water Resources Education Center, 4600 SE Columbia Way, Vancouver.
Oct. 20 – Port of Chelan County Confluence Technology Center, 285 Technology Center Way, Wenatchee.

I have some materials provided by Crosman if anyone is interested in going to the meetings. PM me and I'll share them.

I submitted a note to him. Thanks for posting this.

DragonKiller:
Awesome! I had started a personal project to try and petition for a equipment rule change to allow for air guns, at least for small game hunting to start.  I stalled out on it for a few different reasons, but seems like a great chance to pick it back up!  Wish I would have seen this thread earlier, but thanks!
