Hi,
Awesome project and i read this with great interest.
Concerning the heavier hammerspring.
In the Netherlands the choice for more power in the 9mm Shin sung fire 201/202 often a heavier hammerspring is used.
Problem then is the cockingeffort needed and the less predictable or heavy triggerpull.
This is often solved with a better cocking bolt in combination with a different/new hammer
and reduction of the trigger spring for a softer pull.
Since you use a discotrigger which is adjustable, you are in a better position.
just my two cents..
thx for sharing.

Even with the heaviest hammer spring I find my modified Disco trigger extremely nice.... The oversized bolt handle and stronger shaft help with the cocking effort, but it is indeed quite hard to cock....

Hi Bob, I hope you are able to reach the 150 pfe you want, even if only for 2-3 shots, that wold make a great gun.

I was joking.... I think that is way beyond what a Disco valve can do.... but I've been wrong before....

Bob,this is just too neat! I never thought of having a (less than 500 fps) airgun shooting 77 grain Eunjins, and it not having to be PAL rated. How would that work for someone who didn't have a PAL?
There's .177's out there that shoot less than 500 fps with lead, but will shoot over 500 with PBA,so I suppose that would be perfectly fine in 9mm too.
I know you have your PAL,but it was a curiosity question for someone without a PAL.
Thanks,
Troy

As long as the gun shoots under 500 fps with "normal weight" pellets, you don't need your PAL.... since the 77.8 gr. EunJins are the ONLY comventional pellet available in 9mm.... what the heck else could "they" test it with anyway?.... I think the idea of a non-PAL airgun putting out about 40 FPE is VERY KEWL....
When I get my 24" .357 barrel I plan on building a non-PAL 9mm Disco....

That was exactly my first thought! How cool is it to have a Non PAL Big bore with the oomph to knock down a coyote and still be within the PAL limits.
Now my Buddy Cory wants a 9mm,lol ,as I was telling him about this project. He asked who he had to talk to to get one,,but I didn't go that far, lol.
Thanks,
Troy
