tarantula fx..22 has anyone has had any experince with the them ? the american has one in great condition with pump ,scope and for 1100.00 i think it might be a decent price but giving a stranger 1100.00 is hard maybe i should just go ahead and purchase my talon ss from mac1 ...what would you do ?

I had a Tarantula and it was a very nice accurate rifle. That one looks to be a later version as the stock looks more like the Webley style. My stock didn't have the red rubber pad (mine was a thinner pad) the checkering was diiferent and the walnut was darker and more figured. You do see them come up for sale time to time, but that is a lot of money. I personally don't like the looks of the Talon rifles. Too modern for me. But I agree, if you get one get it from Mac-1.

Jeff you have always gave me positive and honest responses to ags and thats why i will look no further ss will be the way to go ...Nathan my friend has a whisper fx .22 cal and they are very ,very accurate but very expensive and for the same price i could get the ss with accessories and endless moderations ..i rather give the store my money cause its a sure thing where as to have doubts with a person i dont know ...thanks for you guys input ..jorge
