qb78,qb79 and 2260 barrel lengths

What are the factory barrel lengths for a qb78, qb79, and a 2260?

I think 21.5" for the 78 and 79.  But I can check when I get home tonight.

I wanted to get either of the three but I was told that the 2260 has a power advantage because it had the longest barrel so I wanted to know if this is true.  I was talking to someone that had their 2260 up to 40fpe and could only get their qb79 up to 20 something fpe.

There is more to it than simply 3" of barrel extra  ::)The valve work hammer and hammer spring.The transfer port dimensions,and the fact that a QB79 needs a longer tube to act as a pre chamber for the air before the valve.And the valve itself is very different in the crossman I presume it was a boss high flow valve that was fitted to the 2260
There is no one thing that can make that much difference in two similar guns.The QB requires a light delrin poppet and a strong valve spring with a stronger hammer spring,and a lot of polishing and gas flowing of the CO2 path.But it will reach more than 20fpe on Air  I know this because they can reach more than that on CO2

You noted that a 2260 shoots 40fpe...that sure is a hot shooter and definitely not co2! gotta be shooting 1125fps with 14.3

Thank you sir.  Yes the 2260 is not using co2, it is using hpa.  and to get about 40fpe the guy that built it used heavy pellets something around 28grain.
