PSA for compressor owners

You just need to take into account the pressure of the 400cc. Then you can figure the volume it equals at 14.7psi. Then divide that into your volume of nitrogen tank. I believe a 120cf tank holds 120cf of nitrogen at atmospheric pressure (14.7).
I think.

That makes more sense now I come up with 588.87 fills from 0-400cc ( I almost never fill from zero)

This topic should be mandatory reading for anyone considering the purchase of a high pressure compressor. As consumers, we expect that the companies manufacturing the products we use are testing them rigorously before bringing them to market. Granted, there are always accidents, but being derelict in your product development and indirectly putting your clientele at risk of harm is unacceptable. I'm grateful to have found this thread prior to using my new compressor, and once again have found yet another step to help me enjoy this hobby safely. Thank you.
FYI - in my rabbit-hole, I turned up this article. Excellent breakdown between the two notable filtration systems.

I received my Hatsan Air Tact Volt compressor yesterday (after FEDEX sat on it for a week somewhere...)
I tried it out today...it WORKS !
As I had never used a compressor before, I didn't know what to expect.
It is not the high speed arrangement I had envisioned..... id rhythmically and pretty quietly clunks away,
while I watch the pressure readout rise to the preset shut-off level....and shut off it does..except the fan.
My Benji Raider had less than 2000psi in it and it pumped up to 2500 within about 30 seconds or so, just guessing.....
So far, so good....
