Metal trigger big cat

i was just at a non local waly world for me.... about 15 miles away, and they had 3 gamo big cats on the shelf.  i popped one of the boxes open, that had slightly different packaging, and it had a metal trigger.... i couldn't see the date of mfg on the box anywhere..... so the metal triggers are still floating around... mabey old stock?

So are the new ones plastic? When did they stop producing metal triggers?

I do not know if anyone has the answer to that question exactly.

It was a few month's ago Jman,Gamo changed the trigger an some part's inside as I hear it. Which make's them unable to change over to Mr.Bob's trigger or to do very much of a tune?

Actually they started the transition in the late summer of 2009, almost a year ago with the Whisper and CFX. It is now incorporated into nearly all of the Gamo's.
