I gave the baby my cold (some dad, huh?), so there's nothing happening until she's well.
I'll post here to plan days with everyone, once I know I'm in the clear.

OK... for anyone that can make it, the first open pesting/plinking day will be this coming Sunday, the 16th. Start- and end-times are loose, and will reflect your needs/schedules, though I'm planning on being available all day. Bring a sack lunch so we can stay out in the field.
If you're in, PM me, and I'll provide you with directions on where to meet.
I'll go scouting for ground squirrels, today, and also select a spot for plinking, if nothing is moving.
If you have portable shooting benches or tables, chairs, etc., bring them so you don't have to sit in the dirt.
This hopefully won't be the last day I can organize before April 7th, so don't worry if you can't make this one.

Drew,
Darn! Wish I could go but I already made plans this weekend with the family. You guys have fun for me and let me know how things went that day. Give me a holler next time you plan on meeting for some plinking or whatever.
Cheers.

Bring whatever you need to have a good time... if the squirrels go down that day, we'll be able to plink, then. I figure a table and whatnot would be good for that, so you're not just sitting in the dirt.
Regarding plinking: I have no targets. Really. If you have spinners or anything that you like to shoot, feel free to bring that. If worst comes to worst, I've got some cans. Haha.
If you don't want to bring a lunch, there's a store in town that makes killer sandwiches, and it's only 2 minutes from where we'll be.

I will get orange paper targets just enough for every one, 1 spinner, 2 foldable tables, 1 camping chair, 1 tri-pod hunting seat, 1 shooting stick. I will bring a 24 bottles of drinking water. cans are same size as squirrels. I like to use them for long distance practice. for lunch, I will go for sandwiches!
Drew, since you help organize this event, I will buy you lunch!! Oh. I have to drop my daughter off for high school basketball practice in a morning, then I am free. What time will we meet? also, PM direction to me. thx

I do have a silent trap that I built, but always use scratch paper to zero. Hahaha.
There might be some home-built spinners and gongs around, but my wife's cousin built them for PBs... Knockdown targets and spinners are great. I'll also have cans!
Buying me lunch isn't needed, but thanks, though. I'm a big leftovers eater, so I'll be bringing my leftovers!
Time-wise, I was thinking any time after 9am.

Great! From 26E, take a left at Duncan (Grocery store is on your left), and Monte Vista will be your last right before the road narrows at an orchard.
For everyone that's coming: The stop-time will have to be at three, unfortunately. I guess 5-6 hours of shooting will have to do!

I'm really glad everyone could make it, today. Though the squirrels weren't moving that late in the morning, I had a really good time with all of you. I agree with Barry that the shooting was secondary to meeting such a great group of guys.
As stated on George's thread, the next try for GSes will involve a bonfire, camping out, poison-of-choice, and shooting early in the morning before the sun runs the pests down. Tony mentioned BBQ, so I think that we should definitely look at turning this into an excuse to have get-together: "Oh, yeah, Honey... we're helping some farmers rid their lands of noxious pests! What with the drought, and all, every walnut is precious! Yes... yes... yes, we need to camp out so we can get them in the morning. Noooooo... that's not the outline of a whiskey bottle in my duffle!"
