Looks like he's having to close down Best Air Guns.  Info on the Chinese and the Yellow's Chinese forum.  I think this fellow air gunner and entrepreneur can use our support.

I think the GTA has been one of his biggest fan sites and if he still wants to do airgun biz, the folks are here. I think we could keep him busy... if that's what he wants....

 i have never had any dealings with the man, but i have never heard nothing but good things about him and his services. I sure hope he gets it worked out.  thanks david

Mike Melick is a great guy, very resourceful and very friendly. He helped me out with a stock for my cracked B-26 and I spent good 40 mins just shooting the breeze with him over the phone. I wish I could help him in some way, but my AG funds are tapped out. I hope he overcomes the difficulties and succeeds. He's a true asset to airgun community.

It almost sounds like the Chinese factory has pulled the rug out from under him.  A very short sighted move if his operation was a major distributor of the Chinese product lines.  Now that a China firm owns Beeman, perhaps they want to resurrect that name to try and convey some high quality image.  They could do the same thing to Archer.  I'm not sure what they could do to Compasseco. whose TechForce line is re-branded Chinese.  At least they have other lines to sell, but Mike does not apparently.  I sure hope he stays in business and keeps tuning as his reputation with Chinese stuff is FIRST RATE.
