So I've been kinda lurking around here for the past year.  Finally got around to getting an account...took all of 2 minutes, I know.  I'm a long time shooter (Active Army) and come from a solid raising of marksmanship guidelines.  I've also been shooting air rifles for about 8ish years.   The best rifle I have now is a Gamo Shadow 1000.  I've had it for around 4 years I think.  One of the biggest things I need to do is clean it. I'm sure I've shot well over 2,000 rounds through it.  I'd also like to see what kind of upgrades I can do to it to make it more accurate.  And over time I want to learn what other options are out there for a better rifle and get another one at some point in time.  I use it mostly to plink targets.  I would also like to know what the record is for the furthest accurate pellet shot.  Mostly to have a goal and see how good I am.  Thanks for having this great forum and I hope to learn a lot.
