Walther LG 51 from 1952..

Hello folks!
I just finished up this snappy little Walther LG 51. The gun is amazingly simple, and the very well engineered in my opinion. The piston fits really snugly in the tube, the cocking arm does not rattle or even move, as it his held in place with a built in small spring in the beechwood stock, also a metal guide to protect the wood while cocking. All I needed to do was change out the piston seal (silikon) and clean her up, lube it and off we go!
The gun is way more powerful than I expected, as it buries the pellets deeper into a wooden plywood board deeper than my vintage Diana 35, which I recently also finished! I am surprise at it's compactness and small size, and the fact that it is such a joy to shoot.
Here's a couple of pics;
1. Before restoration.
2. Simple components.
3. Finished beechwood.
4. Gun overall.
I hope you enjoy the pics from a seldom old vintage Walther 51.
