I have a Meisterschutze with the wood stock. I thoroughly dislike the hard plastic butt pad Diana uses. I purchased a replacement that almost fits from Air Rifle Headquarters. Did you get that "almost fits" part? I drew an outline of the original plastic pad on card stock then cut it out. I used hot glue to attach this outline to the new pad. I tried cutting it to size with my jigsaw but did not have enough material to remove for the jigsaw to work well. Lacking a small belt sander I ground it to size with my bench grinder. It worked great!! I know, no pictures, it didn't happen. I still have some work to do refinishing the stock so when done I may make pictures of the finished product. Perhaps this should have even gone under simple projects. More later.

Out of the many rifles that I have sold or traded on, the 34 Meisterschutze in .177 is one of 2 that I regret letting go. No. 2 is a CZ 634.
IMO the Meister was the best incarnation of the 34, enjoy!

I have a regular D34 and agree the plastic butt pad isn't comfortable. Also don't like that I can't set it against a wall cause it'll slip. Put a rubber slip on Pachmayr decelerator recoil pad on that I've really liked.

I, too, have found hard-plastic (and wood-only) butt pads next to useless, due to them being slippery when...ever.

I use a lot of slip over recoil pads to adjust L.O.P. but also to protect the gun and cover damage.
