Decided to give the Hatsan Jet Another Try

The gun is the Jet 1 and The flavor this time is .22 vs a .25 last time which I didn’t like. My expectations are a squirrel getter at 20 yards and that’s it. I don’t expect it to be a Leishy just a cheap pcp that fits in your pocket. I’ll be putting a Hawke red dot. Pyramyd air has them on a special right now

One thing i noticed on my .25 Jet1 was sand paper texture in the barrel, was hard to tell rifling from machining marks, a good clean and polish helped that, also keep an eye on barrel mounting screws, I had them loosen and accuracy went out the window.

I ordered one in .177 I want to see if it's possible to get it to shoot a flat string. 40cc's of air is not a lot to work with.

Yeah I’m not expecting Notos accuracy at all.

Does the Jet have the same trigger as the sortie?  I found clipping the spring made a heavy, bad trigger into a very good, predictable trigger that is light.

I had a p750, much like the notos. Even after working on the trigger, it was not much to my taste. The worked on sortie trigger is much better in my opinion.

My .25 had an ok trigger good enough for what I do. I don’t like hair triggers so it was fine probably in the 2-3 pound range.

Wow the .22 is nice vs the .25. I have a sig red dot and a buck rail can on the muzzle. 20 yards, me sitting on the back of the van with both doors open off of shooting sticks it was doing MOS (minute of squirrel) groups with CPHP with 2 mags. Good enough
