It seems odd that you would not sign up on AGN, even if you do not plan to spend a lot of time there.

Anyway, I sent a PM to CTShooter with a link to your post on GTA, and the full text of your message.  Then I also provided your other email address:  rdmur530@yahoo.com

I think that a number of people have a gut feeling about your post that is going to make them reluctant to contact that guy on AGN.  After a day of contemplation I decided that he can simply ignore my PM if he is so inclined.  You do seem to have a presence on various sites, trading airguns.

I guess it could play a few different ways. I mean I get a PM on AGN saying reach out to a guy on gmail - I am skeptical. But they did leave a link to this thread (smart idea). So I post here and if the buyer wants to contact me on PM I am happy to discuss it. Will I take this conversation to gmail - not likely - keep it in the forum where a moderator could see it.

Honestly - my risk as a seller is lower than that of the buyer. If this was a WTB I would very likely ignore the whole thing.

Hopefully the OP reaches out and we can work together on what they are looking to buy.

My sincere apologies if I was facilitating a potential scam.  Because the exchange sounds fishy.  Or fishier.

Just to back the OP up, he is not a member of AGN. But is an avid collector and has been for several years. He is NOT a scammer or someone trying to pull a fast one on anyone!!! He COULD simply join AGN and send the member a message but we all know that takes time to complete. He was afraid to lose the airgun he was looking to buy. It seems they have been able to make contact here on GTA. Good deal. I just wanted to clarify he is NOT a scammer and is a legit collector!!!
