Today I became a puppy parent :)

We decided to bring a puppy home for the kids. She’s the sister of my brother in laws dog which he got last week so luckily she was still available from the breeder. She’s going to remain tiny thank goodness because the last thing I want is a 150 pound dog.

You  can't tell us about your new fur baby and not provide pictures. Not showing photos of a unattractive child is one thing but never a fur baby! Just kidding about the child. We love kids!

Congrats, that dog should be a great 4 legged best friend for your kids.
All kids should have a dog in their life.

Personally I'll always look back fondly on peppers tiny little puppy days but I really couldn't wait for her to grow into her big girl bark, I just can't stand the high pitched ear piercing bark puppies have.

Yeah that puppy’s not going anywhere.  What a cutie!

We acquired a Labrador pup about three months back.  Three months old she weighed about 25 lbs.  Now at six months she is about 55 lbs. and still growing.  We were hoping for something closer to your pup in size this time but she was free so we’re not complaining.

Looks like a teddy bear Mike congrats! Watch behind you before backing up so you don't step on or trip over her. Those little critters can be quiet and sneaky coming up behind you without realizing it.

What a cutie. Yorkie or Yorkie mix? My oldest daughter got one not long ago and they’re the cutest little dogs. My biggest dog runs 135-140 lb depending whether he’s been out yet that morning so we can still be friends

She’s a Parti Yorkie (whatever that is lol) I can’t imagine a big dog in our place.

Staying out of the kitchen while I'm cooking is one of the few things my current pup pepper has actually learned.
She stole some sausage off the counter one day and I swatted her pretty good, at the time I felt bad like I may have swatted her too hard but she learned her lesson and doesn't hate me for it.

Rambo used to never go in the kitchen. But since Boss joined the family he goes and he makes sure he goes first.

When Oso Blanco hit 135 I asked the vet if he needed to lose weight. She said no, he was perfect as he was but she wouldn’t want him to get any bigger. I said I wouldn’t either! Been at that weight for 2 1/2 years. Our Poodle, Hurley is just about 60 lb now and I think that’s where she’ll top out. They come in the kitchen but are pretty good about staying out of the way. Thank goodness.

We live in a small mobile home and there ain't much room in our kitchen. I liken it to the size of a one inmate jail cell.
