Max , Again some great shooting ! I have to admit , with that kind of power & ammo , I scares the Bejeebies out of me when I watch those shots on the roof slopes ! I never see holes though . I got back into some rats at barn #1 and so far during daylight hr.s I connected on 10. May slide over there tonight & see how I make out. It was neat to see those crows fold up like that ! Keep smackin' 'em.

@martrage. Thanks for watching. Yes, I agree with shots on the sloped roof, but so far no holes (fingers crossed). I try to only shoot them birds perching on the top of the roof. Have fun tagging those rats. I have been out shooting rats again so new videos to launch. Cheers.

Max is a good shot. I pity the fooh that ever tries to rob his house because he's not going to miss when he shoots.

Max,I got onto another barn w/ pigeons ! It was late afternoon upon arrival and the sun was setting to my front
. There were 30+ birds on the silo @ 60+ yards w/ only two shooting directions , and 10-15mph winds . My Katran is setup w/ Hades/FX 's. It took a few shots to get the wind & elevation right. These birds have not been hunted so they flew ,circled & came back several times . I popped six before they perched on a powerline 160 yrds away for 15-20 min.s before returning. I'm thinking they roost in the silo and the barn. I moved twice for positioning . When I was returning to the Toyota I caught a glimpse of a groundhog ducking into a hole I spied under the barn corner earlier. I set up for ambush at 27yrds w/ my stool & tripod. After maybe 5 min.s or so it popped out to survey the area, and I waited a few seconds till it turned for my shot . I eased into the crisp 6 ounce trigger and it was done. I found a good spot for the Bald Eagle to claim it ( saw it at #2 setup ), prepped it & packed up for home . I'll have to check this barn out another evening for vermin. Right now the storm is pounding rain here for the second day.

@Sqrl Klf. LOL, hopefully only pest birds or coyotes get the lead from me.
@martrage. Good job tagging them birds at your permission and the groundhog didn't stand a chance. Stay safe and dry.

Well Gentlemen , I can't keep up w/ Max,but I made a good show of it this morning on the new pigeon / g-hog barn. I got out around 8:30 to let the school bus traffic pass. I set up at my first hide & took my target to the silo's base to chk zero at 55 yrds. 3 shots on the money . I noticed a chuck hole 4ft away that looked well used. As I was walking back from the target I noticed a spot farther back & elevated a bit more than spot #1. Grabbed the ranging binos and chk'd it out . 74 yrds & a better view of the silo top ! I packed up the stool & bipod ( left my tripod in the garage
and set up at the back of the Toyota under the lift gate as it was hit & miss drizzle , stretched out my camo screen as best I could . I took a couple shots and found my hold. Just as I leaned back in the stool I noticed the g-hog standing up beside my target ,,, well now ! I settled the second mil line down under the chin and brushed the trigger . Smack ! It didn't sound like a flesh hit , more like a solid object ( silo ). Son of a Gun , I missed ! Just then the first pigeon landed so I held same point and again brushed the nice Katran trigger . This time a rewarding pop, feathers flew and the bird plummeted off the top. The next 45 minutes four more met the same fate. I'm hoping to set up my seat blind tomorrow & tripod at the same spot and I even have a shed to pull the vehicle in close by. Oh, I was shooting The H&N Baracuda Match 21gr.s at 850+fps . They are only and inch low from the Hades zero and I figured they would handle that range better .
