Help with huma regulator flashpup

(1/2) > >>

JWL:
Got a new huma regulator for my flashpup synthetic. I can't seem to get it to seal up completely. I used method 2 of the venting methods. Getting a very slow leak from the vent groove. I lapped the valve screw bottom of the gun, that seemed to help but still not sealing up. I saw there is a very tiny scratch on the huma o ring gland. Not sure if that is the cause or how to fix it. Any ideas welcome.

triggerfest:
Probably just use some o-ring silicon lube and case closed.

Though the scratch on the o-ring is not a good sign and typically can't be solved by silicon lube only (ie safest way is to replace the o-ring and use the lube).

The scratch is on the regulator where the oring sits. It is very minor barely visible. I have tried silicone grease. The scratch might be from my oring hook pick

Got it.

I would take a picture and send it over per email to HUMA Air and ask them.

They are very knowledgeable and typically they are replying quite fast to queries.

kbstingwing:
clear nail polish will fix the scratch, I would apply, while wet, install o-ring, allow to dry, then lube the inner wall of the cylinder and o-ring with Silicone grease and install the regulator.
