Headin' to Santa Fe Texas on Wednesday.Then the SIL and I are going to Ferderickaburg to again visit the National WWII odf the Pacific and Nimitz Museums.Also drink mych German bier and eat lots of German cuisine....On the way up We'll stop in New Braunfels at Krauses Cafe & Biergarten that has about 60 biers on tap........we may just stay there.....ROLL OUT THE BARREL !!!!

Lunch at Krause's Cafe today.Sausage sampler plate w/ Paulaner Oktoberfest draft beer........I HOPE it was not the high point of my trip, but it will be close........Dinner tonite at the Rathskeller in Fredericksburg.Veal Jaegerschnitzel w/ Paulaner Oktoberfest (bottled) not as good as draft.....Veal was excellent,tho......
Auslander's for mid day meal.......Paulaner Oktoberfest Draft bier.......well, actually 3.....And a mountain of fried mushrooms w/ ranch dip..............GEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzI'm eating good on this trip..........

You can find some amazing places to eat in central Texas. Waitrek's meat market in Poteet is probably the best place in North America for Polish wedding sausage.
