The thing about these 'lego' builds is.... you better love it because you'll never get your money back out of it.Don't believe me? Go price a Boyd's thumbhole stock, a GMAC repeater breech and a Fortitude shroud kit... if you can even get them anymore. That's not even including the upgraded trigger group and other odds and ends. Then add that to the price of a Maximus.

If they do they need to upgrade it and make a better job of it than the 362. There are several CO2 guns on the market right now that make the old 2260 obsolete. The 2260 is a nice gun but a modern QB78, XS60C, or Chaser make it look old.
I prefer wood too but my .20 cal PCP, built on a Cothran 2260 tube, wears a fortitude stock. I liked it better than the 2260 wood stock that I have kept with a 2240 hipac + 2 extensions for ??
