delrin piston rings

I have seen videos showing the machining of the grooves for piston rings. I like to know how the Delrin rings are made?

Motorhead:
As with any cylindrical ring made from billet material.  In a Lathe with Round stock, Turn I.D. & Turn O.D then part off at desired width.

Thanks, that was my guess. I've done buttons, I'd like to give the rings a try. ;D
