Wind meter

jskd82:
Is a Kestrel worth buying for use with an airgun?

Habanero69er:
Which one? The $79.00 one or the $749.00 one?

Any wind meter in general but if I were to purchase, it would be one of the higher end models.  I had a 4500nv years ago but I forgot batteries in it and the acid messed it up.  I bought that for high power rifle.  I would like another but wondering how useful they are for air rifles.

Back_Roads:
So far no real need , would be a bit more accurate than wetting my finger and sticking it in the air.
I typically do some sighter shots prior to get a feel for the days wind conditions.

Habanero69er:
Jason, if you’re target shooting, you can set up streamers at points between you & the target area. Fluorescent safety/streamer tape works well. But like James said, a wet finger in the air can also be a good indicator.
