Ya know, for whatever reasons iīve had this on order for a year and a half.
Importer states this n that, one thingīs for sure though and thatīs that the rifles seems to avoid our shores.
As i live within the EU itīs thus gotten to the point where iīm considering importing one myself, then in 25cal.
Bottle version isnīt even on the agenda to us, again for whatever reason.
But that doesnīt detract from the fact that i find the M60 interesting and would love to dig into it. Seeing what the 25cal guns are capable of today though..
Iīve figured as much that what these units lack out on is primarily plenum chamber volume? Correct?
Does anyone know what that is at stock? Cause i bet that can me remedied, one way or another.
Looking at that video in turn it seems that slugs ainīt really their home turf? Thus i presume the barrel is choked, and if so to what amount?
What iīve been told they sport a 610mm barrel and loosing say 10-15mm of those to get rid of the choke to make the thing a slug shooter instead strikes at least me as a viable option.?
Its heft though was a new one to me. Thatīs a fair bit of chunk and change if at 11lbs! At that rate a CF bottle would make sense alright, but itīs been stated that the barrel is a rather bull barrel/heavy duty one?
Does anyone know why this is? In short, could it stand to loose a bit of weight on a lathe ya think?
Kind of strikes me a tad.. different, seeing where Snowpeak/Artemis comes from. Compare if you will to the old P-15 which is a featherweight if ever. Fact is, the P-15 to me is THE only PCP out there that could actually benefit from being weighted down a tad.
As a general consensus, if you want to call it that, thereīs some sorts of magic line downwards when it comes to weight that shouldnīt be surpassed. Like say 3kg worth fully dressed up.
Some of you might recall i indeed own a P-15 but apart that did me a HPA conversion on a CP-2 a while back too. That thing shoots really really well but is featherweight if ever.
To the point where having the thing on a rest, or bi-pod, it will actually jump around a tad upon firing. Not ideal..

I was interested in the M60 for awhile, but I've fallen in love with my .177 Stoeger Bullshark. It's a dressed up p35 with a little extra weight, but that's a good thing in my opinion. Accuracy is phenomenal and it loves slugs. Mine is making over 23 fpe with 13 grain Knockouts and that's plenty for me. My Benjamin Cayden is tank in the weight department and one gun like that is plenty for me.
