I was searching for an optic that could tolerate the unique air rifle recoil, and I found the Riton Optics line of air rifle-rated scopes. Because I wanted adjustable parallax down to 20 yards, I opted for the 3 Primal 4-16X44, which goes down to 10 yards. This will mount great on my Beeman R9, which doesn't have a lot of room to fit a larger objective scope. It should be much more fun and accurate than the red dot I have been running.                 1

I've had good luck on magnum springers using Hawke optics (Airmax) and UTG's "True Strength" series of optics, especially the TS models with etched glass reticles. I have noticed an uptick in conversations about Riton, though. I'd like to see a few more in-depth reviews before I start placing orders...
