Seems like a sweet shooting gun Tom, I think SPA makes them for Stoeger, I have been very satisfied with my SPA PCP and CO2 guns.
ATT: Dear Readers of this post.I learned a long time ago, to not recommend air rifles and I am not recommending this one either. This post is just about what I bought, why I bought it, what I was able to do with it. It also details what I paid in total. So it you are thinking about buying this rifle...bare in mind, what works for Me...may ...or may not....work for You. Best Wishes - Tom
Well said Tom... We are the only ones that need to be happy with our purchases. "Buy once, cry once" does not apply.
Tom, if I was I interested in buying one of those rifles I would rather listen to your thoughts on the gun over any reviews they might post. I know your thoughts are honest and can be trusted. The same goes for the information posted by any member on our forum.
Thanks,Tom. Enjoying learning about this gun. There is not much about it. Thank you for providing the description of the sale/price experience.
I’ve been eyeing this same gun at my local Sportsman as well, is the muzzle brake on the end a moderator or just a cocking aid? Is the recoil similar to a hw30?Thanks for the write up seems like a nice shooter

It is not a moderator or even a true muzzle break. One nice thing about it is the barrel crown is readily accessible.I checked out the crown on my rifle and it was in good shape.I have never owned an HW30 so I can't make a comparison between the two.I am quite sure that an HW30 would be a much nicer rifle, especially so in regards to the trigger arrangementI can say that the recoil on this Stoeger is very mild and hardly noticeable. In regards to longevity, 5 to 10 years down the road, obtaining replacement items such as springs, seals etc. will be readily available for an HW30 but with this Stoger.....who knows ?I am 74 years old, and am drawing social security as my income.I can't afford... nor do I need... a rifle like that. For me, this rifle is quite good enough. It has demomnstrated that it will do what I want it to do. Best Wishes - Tom

With this Stoger, there will not be much of a resale value in 5 to 10 years. As to moderators, some of the other Stoger models ..do have a moderator on them...just not this one.Best wishes - Tom

Completely agree with your point about the inherent quality/long term value of the HW, I just like the idea of that “class” of springer. Something pleasant to shoot in the yard with low recoil and noise, for $75 I think I’m gonna bite
Great write up on the gun Tom. I think if anyone can do a review on a break barrel rifle its you.
