Tj 30in .257 barrel for airforce condor .250

I found a very good deal on a tj 257cal 30in barrel blank 1-14 twist rate I was wondering if it would work in my condor .250 if I could use my 25cal bushings on the .257 barrel

i don't own a condor but i think they'd just need the same OD, what is the stock OD in those?

You can purchase TJ's barrels with different OD's.... The critical part for a Condor is the thin part that the breech slides over....

yeah that's the part you gotta make sure of I'm wanting to put in a texan .308 barr and just cut the loading tray off would it fit stock condor .25 breech with loading tray cut off??

Depending on the OD of the TJ's barrel, you may have to machine out the Condor bushings or make new ones.... You WILL have to machine down the rear part of the barrel, plus of course cut a chamber and leade, TJ's are just rifled blanks....

The ID of the .25 Condor breech is 0.312", so the .308 barrel stub OD and breech ID will be larger than that, and the valve different as well.... There is a lot more to do to fit a .308 Texan barrel to a .25 Condor....
