What is the correct way to shut down a compressor?

I shut the valve on my tank then bleed and shut off almost simultaneously. Seems to be working so far.

Firewalker:
I have the auto-off function on my YH and a one way valve on the fill line.

It shuts itself off and I just open the bleed and degass valves and turn off the power.

Close the tank valve and open the bleed.

Done.
