Crosman 2240 8 fpe
K.O.:
did not think a stock 2240 had enough barrel to get a 28g round to do ~250 mph.. :o
I just picked a 2240 up for my daughter... cept I want to send lead out of a 18"-20" barrel as a 1740 carbine with the 1399 stock..
Do seem to remember the 1760 was about 8fpe/600 fps with 10g CPUM... would really like to send some 15g-17 cast BBT with it...
but for now... well have some H&N and the 13g K.O. to try... need to pick up some of the 10g K.O. saw how they did in your Diana.. ;D
Almost desperate enough for cast .177 slugs that may try a desperate measure... cowboy one using my 17" delta drill press and a blank lee mold...

I like that tru-glow shot gun sight clipped to a TKO on a couple of mine…..chase a can all over the backyard…good luck
Back_Roads:
Yup I just sighted in my coworkers Chaser pistol with 26 gr H&N slugs, they keep their energy down range well also. 8)
I shoot a slug out of most guns I have and most even get them to leave the barrel and hit a target also :)

I took a page from Wayne's book. I've seen him shooting BBTs from several of his classic crosman co2 pistols. I don't remember what velocities he was seeing, but I was pleasantly surprised with mine. It looks like heavy is the way to go in short barreled co2 pistols like this. I'm going to have to pick up a 22 Chaser soon.

Not sure I ever tried BBT in the Willie G. or Twisted Sister.. I'll have to give them a shot.. or 2. ;)
