Cliff, that looks much better than the Leapers drooper mount used and did not like.  But first I am going to try something else.  I will let folks know if it works.  Good tip, though, thanks.

I ordered both the RWS and UTG drooper mounts for my Diana 48.  Ended up returning the RWS as the UTG appeared to be better constructed and ability to provide eye relief the RWS did not.

Thanks to some helpful support I was able to bend the barrel. I can now use Sport Match mounts without shims or a dropper mount.  Thanks for all the input.
