I did. Maybe too much, figured it would just blow out any extra. But no change … still leaking out the barrel when pumped.

 Is there a chance that this needs to be cocked before it will take air ??? Just a lame thought I would not think so but ya never know.

Yep - thought of that too.

Has quite the hammer spring! PITA getting the end cap off despite nearly 2 inches of compression on the spring.

Wonder if it really needs all that spring? Maybe engineers were concerned with potential valve lock from over pumping?

 Or someone put a way to long of spring in it to try and get more power ???
