Paper for Printing Targets

Trick to use:
Tape your target to a piece of cardboard.
The cardboard acts like a cutting board, and the paper "punches" the target.
This helps a LOT when I use copy paper, which without a backer tends to tear rather than punch.
Move the target around, so you always have cardboard behind the bull, or where you group. The backer is useless if you put the target over a shot out hole in the backer.
Once I started to collect cardboard for a target backer, it was surprising how fast and how much cardboard I collected.
Cardstock works well, but not all printers can handle cardstock.
READ your printer's manual, to find the max weight paper it will handle, and use that.
Example, if your printer is rated for 60 pound paper, use that.

I use 110# card stock but 90# will also work and even dome pellets cut OK holes in the stuff...........

I buy targets to support the industry and dealers. Perfect holes for evaluation.

Excellent idea to check the printer capacity. Yes, cereal & soda boxes are great backer cardboard, but pretty messy. I'm just looking for the type of paper that commercial targets are made of.
