Unfortunately; don't look like I can make that work either-have however found a way to shorten the channel for the falling block, so it ought to be easier to build...  :D
Also was able to add room for seals in the breechblock, so figure I'm on my way...

Did a little more doodling on the falling-block version, got the length of the block channel down enough to make it seem doable-a tad less than 1¼" of true pocket...

Also upped the width of the breechblock, and figure on using O-ring seals-so it no longer has to be a perfect fit; and shouldn't be too hard to file out...
