It really think it's great that we've gotten this many re-ups and newbees in just over a month or so, but this has gotten me thinking. How is it possible that we haven't reached our goal of 100% funding for the new site. I had anticipated this would happen in a few days flat. We are pretty close, but should be working on the yearly costs by now. As a contractor, I've been hit about as hard as any in this economy, and likely harder than most who have lost jobs because I don't have unemployment benefits available to me, but have to pay into it for a couple of guys I had to lay off. I totally understand if someone just doesn't have it, but we are 800 strong and and growing; but only 10% of the membership has chosen to participate and some have already double dipped from their piggy-banks. How 'bout it folks, skip a coffee and donut at Wa-Wa or DD's for just ONE day, buy a 10 cent envelope and a stamp and send a couple of bucks in.

I know that Bob and Gene would never post this themselves, and might just "kill" it, but I just can't see either of them laying out as much as a dime for the site. If they had ben paid a dollar an hour for their time, they'd be rich.

Hi gang and yes, we are getting close to our goal for the set up expenses and we are only about $68.00 from attaining it.

And yes, after the initial startup for donations, it slowed way down rather quickly but we kind of expected that and are grateful for the donations received. The donations thus far are being used exclusively to pay off the setup costs.

That's great!! Just a few more donations and the cost will be covered. Afew more donations and the monthly operational expenses will start to get paid!!!!

I gotta say, just the entertainment I get from the GTA is worth 20 bucks to me!!
I have saved hundreds with the information that we get here..........thanks again Gene and Bob, for all your efforts!!!!!

Well I'm NEW as of this morning also! I've been looking for a forum like this one for a very long time! Finally, I can talk about one of my favorite hobbies till the doors fall off! YES!

Thanks everyone! I'll be plenty active in the days to follow... Tons of great links and information on here; man imagine the days before forums like this... Barely anyone out there talking shop about air-rifles!

In the meantime... I've got to head out and finish breaking in this questionable Cros Titan GP... Man these things are either hit or miss lol... I digress.

BTW- Hey Charlie great to hear you're still making triggers for these guns; The CTGP's is AWFUL lol! I'm about to take mine apart and see if a little polishing/fiddling around will improve the lack of action/feedback etc...
