Duk Il King Hunting Master - parts diagram?

(1/4) > >>

jackssmirkingrevenge:
As per title, does anyone have an exploded view of the Duk Il King Hunting Master?

Failing that, is there a tear down page or video available online?

jackssmirkingrevenge:
No one?  Guess I'll have to do it myself :D

Where I am so far:

This is what I found in the stock between the buttpad and stock nut, 21 lead slugs approximately 0.457" diameter.

I imagine they were put there as ballast to balance the rifle out, I wonder if they were put there at the factory or if it was the work of a previous owner...

VaporTrail:
How interesting! I have a Hunting Master 2 and a Hunting Master RS...but they are quite different from yours in terms of trigger group and upper block.

I'll be following this; I'm very curious to see the difference between the three rifles.

As for the weights, I'm pretty doubtful they were put in there from the factory. More than likely the PO.

Also curious to see how they compare.  No idea about this one's history but some elements seem quite primitive.

Bottom right is the high/low power selector.  It is missing a synthetic element around the pin on the left that had disintegrated, as far as I can tell it is simply a bumper that in low power limits the travel of the hammer.

Note also the hammer sear pivot is in two pieces, I managed to break it.

Valve train with its massive transfer porting, no less than 6mm inner diameter.

I will probably replace it with something more restricted in order to flatten the velocity curve that is doubtless quite steep out of the box, along with a weaker hammer spring.

Due to the geometry it would not be easily adjustable, but I think I can have a stopping spring guide extend into a hollowed out stock.

SILENT SQUIRREL:
Hello Jack
Excellent pictures
Thanks
The one of the valve is of great interest to me as I am having difficulty disassembling mine.
(Yes Paul, still)
How easily did your valve come apart?
I have mine in a bench vise with barrel pads; and have tried many time, including using a heat gun, to to avail.
News to me is that it breaks into 3 pieces.
My attempts have been at the joint near the transfer port
Any hints?
Are all the threads right handed?

Thanks
Ed
