SLA Resin Printers

(1/1)

Airgun Evolution:
Does any one else have one or any experience with one?

dan_house:
whats kept me from a resin printer is the post print cleanup, possible post print curing of the printed part, price of the resin and print size

they do seem to produce a better looking part, ie no layer lines.

AGEnthused2:
Sorry no experience with resin printers, I’m also turned away by the cleanup, the potential for the tray full of resin to overflow and the small print area. Now if you’re printing tabletop miniatures that’s the way to go.
Probably worth all the hassle.

thundertaker:
I have 2.
And yes, the post process is a grind but if you want it to look like it came out of an injection mold, SLA is great.
There is also the small size of the build platform but you know that going in.

dan_house:
ill probably get one when the print size gets big enough for my projects.

always gonna be a trade off....
