Posting a Craigslist Ad for Small Game & Varmint Hunting in Illinois?

So my thought is to put out a Craigslist ad asking for farmland to shoot airguns on. I think I'd offer to pay a bit, and also propose reducing the pest/varmint population as compensation.

My question is: what kind of legal issues do you think I should anticipate? I don't think you need a license to "hunt" pests in Illinois, but I haven't been able to find a definitive list of exactly what a "pest" is.

Can you think of any other issues with posting such an ad?

Did you put list the add yet?  As far as I know and I did some checking last year.  You will still need a  hunting license for small game plus some towns may have a law against hunting.  It not worthy to live in IL.

Not yet. I don't mind getting a small game license. I really just want to be able to spend some time outside with my rifles. Hoping the relative safety of the airgun and the promise of pest removal will win over a local farmer. I just don't want trouble with the law. ;-)

i hunt alot as im in Il.I stay with fur bearing and stay out of trouble that way but still need a hunting license for it.

I tried it (didn't offer to pay though) No responses. I only let it run for a week.

This past weekend, I printed flyers and delivered them in farmers' mailboxes.
