 Received my LDC adapter for my .22 Huben pistol, installed it yesterday, topped off with a Rocker LDC, fired 3 test shots, and my ears did not ring. Very much like shooting .22 subs with a silencer  And my front sights just clear it

Looked at several of them scattered all over the family room... thought I should put them away.... nah.
It's all good.

I played around with various moderators for the C362.  Buck Rail, Bodge Works, TKO.  The TKO was the best but I still feel like groups are smaller without a moderator.  Besides, the report of this gun is nothing to compare with the crack from a 1400 and it is certainly shorter without a can on the front.  I shot my resetting spinners at thirty yards with some Crosman Piranhas.  I switched to my .177 cal Crosman Fire shooting CPHP and reset the spinners twice without missing a shot.
So a pretty good day!  Cheap guns shooting cheap ammo.  Gotta love it.

I gotta admit that faux carbon fiber accent tape from the auto supply is one of my guilty secrets.

I cleaned up the shop and set up the airgun surgery work table for tomorrow after work. It has been a bit overdue, but Ive decided to open up the HW57 and calm the Vortek beast within!! Got the table covered with an old bath towel, the gun rest ready to hold the stock, and the compressor along with surgical tools laid out. In short, going to perform a thorough cleaning and inspection, a coil clip, and set the tophat to the lowest vortex position . At the present she loves JSB heavies (.22), and anything less runs her HOT, but I don't feel like I want to keep feeding her this diet!$!$!,...And I love shooting heavy pellets too, yet when I bought this rifle, it was to fill in the low to mid powered .22 UL niché I originally wanted. High 13 to 14 fpe is just too much for this gun. 10 to 11'ish fee would be ideal IMO.

Thanks to Lowe's and Dash #33 o-rings the AEA30Challenger with Huma regulator has been re-assembled, re filled and ready for test firing again.  Let's see if this o-ring will glide in the air tube for more than 200 rounds this time.

Stuck a Buck Rail moderator on the C362.  Yep it works.  Noticeably quieter.

Did the same thing to my C362 and I was so impressed with it that I got a Buck Rail moderator for my 2240 as well.

The one I received definitely silences the gun but even after boring the moderator out twice the gun won't shoot accurately with the moderator fitted.

This is the first Buck Rail product that has disappointed me.

I’ve already bored it out with a drill bit a couple of times. Didn’t think it would be ethical to send it back after that.

I replaced the pump cup in a newly acquired Crosman Model 1 that I received today.
Now, it goes "BANG!!"

Took the sight off my 1377 and drilled out the peep with a 5/32" bit, gotta re-blue it before I know how it does.

Found some 1" pipe to make a pusher out of to disassemble my Beeman 0035 so I can replace the seal. I'm going to ask our machinist at work to make three and if I got dimensions right I'll have two extra to put on pay it forward (That Beeman is likely made by Norica, and there are many models this tool should work on).

During the course of cleaning up my mess from the Red Shed lean to demanded requested by Betty Lou, I reset my pellet trap/backstop. That took care of 75% of the mess. Just goes to prove, one girl's mess is another man's treasure.
