Funny stuff.
I grew up in south jersey (ocean county). I remember going to Bob kislins in toms river drulling over the cool guns they had there.
For me to get and airgun I used money order checks from the 7 eleven and magazine ordered.
My parents knew and didn't say much about it.

I think I had a 1377, daisy 880, and some Chinese .177 break barrel.

Slingshots came from a Philly trip and always ended up with some Chinese throwing stars.

Boy it was fun growing up in the early 80's in jersey.

I too live in New Jermany. The most taxed state with the least amount of freedom. Tax, tax, tax tax tax. I'm just returning from Virginia. Went to go look at homes. $4,400 property tax here is $980 there. Gas was $1.83 a gallon. Cigarettes were around $7.00 a pack. If there's road construction on a EZpass road, they waive the toll. It's free! I could go on forever. They taxed me out. I'm sick of paying every time some fat politician wants to buy his 17 year old daughter a new Cadillac. Do the math. If you're fortunate enough to live in the same house for 35-40 years and paid the property tax, you just bought the same house for your township/city that you live in. You have to have rocks in your head to move here.
