Fun shoot

I have found a range that can accommodate that is willing to help organize a fun shoot for all airgun shooters, 20 person lanes at 35 yards max for pistol and springers, 100 yard and even a 200 yard lane that can accommodate 20 shooters at a time, covered shooting bench shooting on all lanes. I'm trying to find out who if anyone would be willing to come and what dates you'd be interested in.

Great opportunity!  Would love to attend, but it is 4+ hours from us in the NW corner of the state.

I will be headed down to Jonesboro next week (after a brief stomp through Jackson TN).

Any places to shoot, local groups, airgun fun or folks just wanting to get coffee and pie and talk pneu-tillery?  ...assuming Irma doesn't redirect my work or dump enough rain in the southeast to make things "highly inconvenient".

I have recently found an awesome place to shoot, free to the public and out to 100+ yards, unfortunately I know of only 1 other airgunner around at the moment. He did tell me that he met someone else shooting a Texan. When do you think you'll be around and I can try to meet if possible.

haven't been on here in a while. I recently retired and might be interested in a shoot.

I have been hunting at Wapanacca federal refuge the past couple weeks and nailed some squirrels with the Brocock.

I didn't know you were allowed to hunt in the national refuge?

Yes Wappanaca near Turrell has same small game season as rest of the state. The regulation booklets states you must use nontoxic shot or rimfire rifle for squirrel.

I went and talked to one of the managers there and he put me in contact with the federal warden. I talked to him about using air rifle instead of rimfire. He told me he was familiar with air rifles and since Arkansas recognizes air rifles, they allow them to be used on the refuge during season.

The warden I spoke with was Jeremy Nguyen. Last name pronounced as "Winn".

I took 2 reds with my Brocock S6 and plan to go back with my FX Wildcat for better reach.

Sweet I'll have to go down there sometime soon then, maybe 30 min from the house. Jeremy is a pretty good guy, met him a few different times. I was just always under the impression that the refuge was off limits so I never bothered with them.

To hunt Wappanaca, you must go by office building and get a pamphlet. You must sign the back and have it with you while hunting. They have them outside on a little stand.

Keep me in mind when you go. Only about 10 miles for me and I could use some one to "turn them squirrels".
