TX200 accuracy issues.

azted:
Hope you can see these.

Roadworthy:
How you hold the gun and the balance point you choose can make a WHOLE lot of difference, even on a TX 200.

Clipping is a possible issue.  One of the members here solved a problem when he located part of a O ring or something caught in the baffles.  According to him that gun now shoots just like it was designed to.

If you felt snags while pushing pellets through, have you tried polishing it with JB Bore Paste or something similar?

Don't actually see anything foreign sticking out in the muzzle, just that the end of the muzzle, the crown, is off center towards 6 oclock. Since the sleeve is not removeable, don't see how that could be remedied or how the barrel coupd be recrowned.

Did take the stock off the the bracket had a little wiggle in it so I tightened that.

Will keep experimenting with hold as it does seem quite hold sensative compared to other guns I've shot.

Don't have any bore paste, just tried the nylon brush with solvent thinking it may be lead build up. That didn't work.

Kind of sounds like a clipping problem - especially your mention of the crown off center at 6 o'clock. You might try shining
a bright light into muzzle end and see if you can see any misalignment of the baffles. I did a search and ran across this about
the baffles - scroll down to the 'Baffles yes no' section.

I also ran across some references to removing the shroud and it sounds like a challenge requiring heat and muscle. Didn't
sound like something for the faint of heart. Hope you find the problem.
