Gun Category Poll

IMO a Gas Ram IS a Springer, just with a different kind of spring powering the piston (compressed air in a sealed cylinder, instead of a coil of steel wire).... Both have a heavy piston compressing the air to create the shot, and both are subject to the "double recoil" that can make them more difficult to shoot, can destroy scopes, and certainly requires a learned technique.... My only comment on whether or not a separate category is needed is that a long time ago I issued a challenge for guys to shoot five 5-shot groups in a row at 50 yards, no other holes on the paper, and be able to cover all five groups with a dime.... That is basically 1 MOA C-T-C.... Only two guys managed it, and one of those did it with a Springer.... 'nuff said!....

Results of this poll are pretty clear.... most want all guns to shoot under the same rules....

what about pistols ?
I am using a AA alfa proj and 2x7 illuminated scope.
I am shooting out 50-75 yards using scope and 16 inch metal targets.
At this point I am pleased to be hitting at least 51% of the time.
It is a challenge.
