Nope, by the time you have a nose and a boattail, there would be no bearing area left to keep the bullet straight in the bore.... Veral didn't even want to do the 52 gr. originally, it took quite a bit of convincing.... any bullet that light will have to be a flat base.... I suggest you contact Mike (CarsonRatSniper) for his slugs (31-45 gr.)....Bob
I would ask about the twist rate, I would be really surprised if it is a 32" twist.... the slowest I have seen in the TJ's list is a 24".... If it is 32", there is a possibility that the 252 gr. may tumble with that slow a twist.... or it may be just fine.... Rizen 1 has a .408 Extreme and he asked me to design that bullet for him.... he may know the twist rate....Bob
