Just finished my second spring compressor. After much trial and error and some faults in the design, this is the final result. On the meantime I will do a teardown and tune of the XS-B3-1 BAM AKA Xisico Industry, whatever company it is from.___The main purpose was to make it universal, in other words as adjustable as it could be, but with safety as main priority. Last thing I want is a spring to come out flying and disaster happen.______One of the things I do not like about the classic XS-B3-1 is it has no built in scope mount rail. It is that small slide you see hanging out on an angle. Although it does its job, does not seem very stable. I ended swapping for a bigger bolt and added more washers, some locktite as well.___The spring has so much compression that the red handle started spinning on its own unwinding out. Very scary indeed...______The anti-beartrap spring needs to be removed. Just watch out it does not go flying out, very small it is.___When starting to pull out the spring guide I forgot to remove the spring behind the trigger. It got kinked and decided to just push it in and it fell inside the rifle, just be careful not to squash it. Anyway, it is super hard solid steel that small trigger spring._____The complete trigger set is solid steel, not like other trigger systems that its a series of plates put together. I also jammed it with the trigger guide and it did not even create a mark.______Here is acloser look of the unit, very simple. It did not look that dirty. It just had old lube with the unique funky smell of all chinese rifles. This one at least was not dry to the bone.______Very strange, compared to the XS-B3-1 on someones blog with rubber seal, this one is leather. It did not look bad at all, the piston had no scars, scratches, again covered in old oil. ______Did take a lot of pictures of the antibeartrap system just in case when putting everything back I miss a step. The grey slide has a small spring which I was careful to keep it in its place and not mix it with the other ones. Compared to the QB6, the rifle can be taken apart completely and all parts are exposed and easy to work on.**These are some of the pics for now, will follow up as I progress on the XS-B3-1 overhaul.
I cannot see any of the pictures 😟
