Hi all. I was wondering if its possible to connect a pcp screw in cylinder the long thin ones with the gauge on the end and have the air thats pumped from the handle go into the cylinder where it could be stored and pressurized and then be released like a pcp releases a certain amount of air per shot to make the gun work like the fx independence. The fx cost 1,799.00 dollars . This cylinder is 119.00 http ://www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Hatsan_Air_Cylinder_Fits_Hatsan_AT_P1_AT_P2_Air_Pistols/4885 .And I think would work good . On the fx once its filled up after 1 shot at 1,000 fps according the this http ://www.fxairguns.com/rifle/the-independence/ you pump 3 times in 22 cal and it brings it back to full power . Even If you could only get one good shot out of the 392 rigged up with the cylinder, but only have to pump it 3 times and have something like 800 fps I think it would be worth it for the cost of the valves, connections and cylinder needed to make it work . Has anyone gave any though to this . http ://youtu.be/-jbzc-ssiJs. close the space between the http and the :// once you have copy and paste in the search bar to go to the links .

The last one isn't a pumper, just a straight PCP, and the one before that is a pump conversion on a CO2 gun.... but the first two are certainly what you are talking about with one major difference.... If you use a Hatsan cylinder, the volume is so large that it would take you hundreds of pumps to fill it.... My Milllenium Pumper reservoir was about 28cc and took 80 pumps from empty to 1800 psi.... the Hatsan is 180cc (or 230 for the Long) and can be filled to 2900 psi (although not with a Benji pump)....

rsterne I realize it would take a lot of pumps from a empty cylinder but once its filled to max after you take a shot you just pump to refill the one shot and not shoot it till its empty . but you could if you needed to .
