 I had to do this    now I know the target was bigger but it was about 240ft 80yrds. 14 pumps .20cal 13.73gr JSB Match Diabolo the shot was in the back where the bulge is had to do a head shot for the kill

 I don't think so I didn't check that close but I think that is what the bulge is. the entry wound was centered in the spine. I left the squirrel there for the nesting hawks.

  That is the first time I shot at that distance. I figured with Tim doing his magic to the gun it was up to the task. it was the 14 pumps that was a work out the reason I know the distance is because I helped my neighbor put up the new fencing and we set the posts 10ft. apart. the actual shot could of been closer to 90yrd. because the squirrel was about 15 > 20ft. off the fence line. that's my story and I'm sticking to 80yrds.

Good shot George! I was wondering how difficult it was to pump it up 14 times with that monster scope ya got on there. I know mine takes some effort to pump it up 14 times with the plastic sleeve. I really like my SSS (SilverStreak Steroid) plus the brake helps out with the noise.

The scope is a Center Point 4X16 from wallmart. I didn't want to spend to much money on a scope until I could figure out a good way to pump the gun with a regular scope. had a handgun scope on it but for field target it didn't work so well.

Took me a long time to realize just how good the old Sheridan and Benjamin pumpers are. I grew up shooting these guns and drooling over European springers that only required "one cock". There was no way I could have lugged around one of those long heavy springers back then not to mention how much easier they are to shoot accurately.

I would never part with my Sheridans.
