Did anyone else see the new pawn stars tonight? I only caught a little bit of a piece on a (if I heard it right) a pistol that used carbonic acid as a fuel source. It kind of resembled a 2240. The bottom tube unscrewed and carbonic acid was poured in as a liquid. The liquid then changed to a gas and I believe it worked like any co2 gun.
I found this pretty interesting. Does anyone else know anything about it?

Google giffard air pistol, you will come up with a post on a different forum(I won't post a link INCASE it is not allowed). The post was by the guy on the show, he says it took about 3 hours to film the segment..
Giffard also made air rifles too, a very unique gun design..

I make 2 predictions;
ON THE DATE WHEN US TROOPS ARE ISSUED AN Energy Pulse Weapon,
1. The US Soldier will have on his person a version of the Colt 1911.
2. He will be aiming the NEW Weapon at someone carrying an AK47.

I think that you got it just a little wrong. I didn't see it, but it was probably a "carbonic gas" gun. Carbonic gas is liquid CO2 under about 850 psi. It can't be poured at atmospheric pressure. Carbonic acid is CO2 gas dissolved in water- soda water. It wouldn't generate enough pressure to do anything useful.
